   SAI BHAJI

    Ingredients
Palak (leaf spinach) 250g
Methi 50g
Chana Dal ( Chick Pea) 100g
Onions 100g
Tomatoes 100g
Green chillies 2
Ginger 1 inch piece
Garlic 3-4 cloves
Turmeric powder 1/4th tsp
Cooking oil 4 tbsp
Salt as per taste
    Method

    1. Soak the channa dal for 2 hours.
    2. Cut the palak and methi and wash them properly in plenty of water.
    3. Heat 3 tbsp of cooking oil in cooker.
    4. Add Chopped onions in oil and fry till golden brown.
    5. Then add palak, methi, channa ,dal, tomatoes, green chillies and ginger.
    6. Sauté for 5-10 minutes then add 150 ml of water.
    7. Cook under pressure for 10 minutes.
    8. Then mash the dal and palak well.
    9. Fry chopped garlic in 1 tbsp of oil.
    10. Pour this tadka on dal.Serve hot with rice.


    Serves: 3-4 People
