Hi I am Nishant Gurnani.
I am studying in class 12th preparing for Medical Entrance Examination
I live in Agra, India which is my birthplace. My grandfather Dr Satish Rohra who is the Founder of the Sindhology Institute is a great influence on me in learning Sindhi. Also in my paternal side there is a lot of respect for Sindhi culture. Due to this I have also learnt to speak a little amount of Sindhi, but I can understand most of it.I also tried to learn how to write Sindhi in the arabic script but due to lack of time I thought I would learn it next year when my Exams are over. I also enjoy Sindhi festivals and I also like Sindhi food. I would like to learn Sindhi but life has been so adjusted in talking in Hindi that I completely forget in talking in Sindhi. I feel that a Sindhi must know how to communicate in his mother language as it gives a sense of belonging to something. It gives a new identity to oneself.
