                                                  ‘acho ta ahiri reeti halayoon’

Poem Title : ‘acho ta ahiri reeti halayoon’ means ‘Come, let us start such a tradition’ After the title of the song on which it is formatted, whose title was ‘acho ta nandhiri rela halayoon’ meaning ‘Come, let us run a small train’.

First paragraph of the poem is same as the first paragraph of the song referred above.
which is         come, let us run a small train
                      let us get the chimney smoking
                      let us spread the 'sandal (hard bed)' and make the station,
                      let us make the station, la la la
                      six six paisa, two, two pais (unit pai) , six six paisa (chorus)

Second paragraph,
                      come, let us start such a tradition,
                      that we sing and converse in Sindhi,
                      by conversing in Sindhi, discover ourselves
                      let us converse in Sindhi, la la la
                      six six paisa, two, two pais (unit pai), six six paisa (chorus)

Third paragraph,
                      Sindhi is our own language
                      In which mother sang the lullabys,
                      How can we forget our mother’s language;
                      let us converse in Sindhi, la la la
                      six six paisa, two, two pais (unit pai), six six paisa (chorus)

Fourth paragraph,
                      Sindhi is our strength,
                      Sindhi is our wealth/heritage,
                      Let us take care of our own wealth (meaning, no one else will!);
                      let us converse in Sindhi, la la la
                      six six paisa, two, two pais (unit pai), six six paisa (chorus)
